Rowan was hopping mad with anger as he exclaimed, "Are you trying to drive me crazy?"
Janice's rebellious spirit flared up, and she simply pulled Josh down to sit beside her. "Don't mind him. Keep explaining with the questions."
Rowan was seething but didn't know what else to do. Finally, in a fit of frustration, he flipped the table over.
The loud crash caught the attention of everyone in the diner.
Janice stood up, fists clenched. For the first time, she felt Oliver had crossed a line. At home, he could do as he pleased. But out in public, he should behave properly. She wondered if he didn't feel embarrassed.
The diner owner, Wayne Walsh, rushed over and exclaimed, "What's going on here? Can't you speak civilly without flipping tables?"
