Gina glanced at the practice test on the table. If she leaned in closer, she could read the questions clearly.
But she wasn't interested. It was just one set of practice tests. If Janice wanted more, Gina could provide her with hundreds of them at any time.
As for Josh's academic performance, she didn't believe Janice's praise at all.
She scoffed and said, "I know you two are close, but there's no need to defend him. If he were really better than you at school, he would have made a name for himself by now. As it stands, I can't even recall his name when I see him."
Janice felt increasingly upset at her words. After all, Josh was the person she had publicly declared she wanted to marry. It was downright unfair for Gina to continually belittle him.
She immediately replied, "Ms. Mitchell, Josh said he can not only get into college but also score very high. You might not know him, but he might just surprise you."
