“Let the boy go and I’ll come with you,” Eleanor said. “I’m the one giving the directions here, not you,” Mia snarled. “You either come with us willingly or you can keep wasting my time and the boy will die anyway. Your choice.” Just as she finished speaking, the sound of movement emanated from the forest surrounding them. The hybrids positioned themselves ready for attack. A few moments later, Sophia, Miller, and the other warriors broke into the clearing. Sophia’s eyes zeroed in on Mia, and then on Jerry. “Liam!” she screamed, shooting forward. She shifted into her wolf and rushed forward, not even taking a second to assess the situation. Miller shifted right after her and followed. “Get them!” Mia screamed at the hybrids. She moved backwards, dragging Liam with her. “Don’t let any of them get away!” The hybrids surged forward, meeting Sophia and Miller midway, stopping their approach towards Mia. The other warriors also shifted and faced off against the hybrids. Two of the hybrids g
