Chapter 26 - A Fall to Doom

Ella groaned in her movements as she stirred gently in her bed. She looked out her window and her eyes caught a glimpse of the full moon. “Ah, there it is, my solace” she thought to herself and smiled gently. “Hey” a familiar voice said and she quickly jumped up to look at who it was, “Who is it? Show yourself this instant” she said and Damien came out of the shadows. She quickly dropped the lamp to the floor and ran to embrace him. “Damien” she cried, “You came to see me,” she said as she chuckled lightly. “I did,” he said. “Forgive me, it seems I forget my place and I let my emotions get the best of me” she said as she cleared her throat and pulled away from the hug but he dragged her back in. “Nonsense. I've missed you” he said, she blushed gently in his arms before they let go of each other. “Walk with me?
