CHAPTER EIGHTY THE FIERCEST DUEL
JAVION'S POV
“Yes,” he said, unapologetic. “I’ve rid us of a curse.”
My entire body shook with rage. I knew what I had to do. “You’ll pay for this, Damon. Nobody can stop me from killing you today.”
Damon shifted back to his human form, his face a mask of calm. “Javion, think about the pack. This boy was a curse.”
I lunged at him, my claws out, aiming for his throat. Damon dodged, but I managed to graze his arm. He growled, eyes flashing with anger.
“You think you can just decide who lives and who dies?” I snarled, circling him.
Damon shook his head, a cruel smile on his face. “I did what had to be done. You’re blinded by your emotions.”
“You don’t get to make that choice,” I yelled, lunging again. This time, I tackled him to the ground. We rolled, both of us trying to get the upper hand.
Damon was strong, but my rage gave me an edge. I managed to pin him down, my claws at his throat. “Give me one reason I shouldn’t end you right now,” I growled.
