SASHA’S POV
I left the pack with a heavy heart and more broken than I ever thought anyone could be. How did I get reduced to this? I took one last look at the pack and the retreating back of the men who took me to the border. I have one trick left and even the innocent would suffer from it.
I don’t even believe any one of them to be innocent because none of them even tried to put up a fight for me and it made me sick that they promised me their loyalty and here is what I get. I shrugged off the idle branches that fell in my face as I headed into the forest. Truth be told, I had no idea where to go and it was starting to get too late.
