The sun gradually sunk behind the horizon as night took over. Naomi's eyelashes quivered for a split second before she opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was the fluorescent light directly above her head, accompanied by the unfamiliar scent of disinfectant, like she was in a hospital. Naomi was asleep for so long that her mind went blank. She had no idea where she was at. She glanced around her unfamiliar surroundings and finally, her gaze landed on the man next to her.
