This part of town boasted traditional Willowstown-style architecture perfectly molded with modern elements and was thus popular among those of the older generation. Therefore, most of the residents who lived at the Guthrey City Villas were of Wendy and Lionel's age, and one would rarely see youngsters lurking about. Because of this, most of the residents were already asleep by this point. Wendy and Lionel's house stuck out like a sore thumb, alight amongst the darkness of the surrounding houses. Charles could see the lights on even from a distance and thus knew that his parents were waiting up for him. The bright lights seemed to signal to him just how anxious his parents were as they awaited his arrival. Charles tightened his grip around his suitcase handle and quickened his footsteps. Meanwhile, Wendy and Lionel were both sitting in the living room, with a pot of hot tea before them. Lionel had brewed this pot of tea for Wendy in hopes that the aroma would soothe her. They
