"Have you decided where you want to go?" Tommy asked. "Berham." "I will allow it." Not wanting to say another word, Anne turned around to leave. Behind her, Tommy asked, "have you really lost the ability to bear a child?" "Yeah. Satisfied?" She said, before leaving. She stood before the elevator and thought about what she needed to do moving forward. She had not expected Tommy to let her go that easily, and was wondering if he was plotting something. Tommy was too cunning, so she reminded herself to be careful. Once she obtained her passport and identification card, she would be able to leave. Anne could not think of any reason for Bianca to refuse her request, if everything went according to plan. She stepped into the elevator and gazed up thoughtfully at the red number display above her. She could not reach out to Bianca or she might risk letting Bianca know how desperate she was. Anne decided that she would apply for a temporary identification card if Bianca did not call
