Can we trust them?
“This accident is just a warning,” Max frowned as he said, “And I’m afraid they will do something else after that. If you intervene now, they will be intimated. That way, I will never find out who they are.”
Zayden was conflicted after hearing Max’s words. He didn’t want Max to be in danger. But when he put himself in Max’s shoes, he thought the boy had a point. He knew better than anyone the problem Max faced as the president of this group.
“Do you have a plan?” He asked.
Max nodded, “Don’t worry, I’m ready for it.”
“Can I help you in anyway?”
“Yes.”
Hearing that, Zayden raised his eyes to Max.
“I want you to go back home and stay out of these things here.” Max said, calmly.
Zayden froze for a second, as he didn’t expect Max to say anything like that. He even suspected that the two of them had been adversaries in previous life.
