I turned my head and glanced at myself in the mirror.
The girl in the mirror had bright eyes, gleaming teeth, and fair skin.
There was no signs of that poor bumpkin at all.
I shifted my gaze from the mirror to Harris and tilted my head. "Born this way."
Right then, Carroll came downstairs. With both hands in his pockets, he shot one glare at Harris. "It's impolite to stare at my wife like that."

For the first time, I heard that one needed aggressiveness to be a wife.
