Ruby kept cursing Bailey incessantly.
Clara, however, was fixated on the photo of the elderly man on the wall. She noticed that the old man in the picture appeared to be shedding tears.
She quietly nudged Mark. When he looked at her, she whispered, "Mr. Mcleod's photo is shedding tears. Can you see it, Mr. Fowler?"
Mark was startled. A crying photo typically indicated a ghost's presence. He quickly glanced at Noel's photo but didn't see any tears.
"I can't see it. Is his spirit in the room?" Mark asked.
"Yes, but he hasn't appeared. He's just crying. I can't tell if it's because he's heartbroken over Ms. Anderson's situation or for some other reason."
Ruby, in the midst of her rant, turned to see Clara and Mark talking. She hadn't heard Clara clearly, so she smiled and asked, "What did you say, Ms. Fowler?"
Yet Clara responded with a question, "Ms. Anderson, how was your relationship with Mr. Mcleod? Did he treat you well when he was alive?"
