Chapter 50

Nicholas had just finished inspecting the Sparrow Clinic, discussed several matters with the higher-ups, and resolved some of the problems that had occurred in a small meeting. Right after he sat behind the wheel of his car, he saw the arrival of Thomas, Lindsay, and one other woman who he immediately concluded was Melisa--Thomas's wife. An unpleasant feeling overwhelmed Nicholas and he followed them into the lobby, then his eyes caught the figure of Josephine, who seemed to be preparing to leave. Lindsay confronted Josephine and it was later determined that the three had an altercation with Josephine. Nicholas had to desperately hold himself back so he wouldn't get out of the car and attack Thomas, Melisa, and Lindsay. He was sure that if he did, Josephine would be angry with him.
