Shannon glanced at the girl, confused by her expression. Still, she nodded.
"You don't know? At noon, your sister crippled Jack in the cafeteria. She fractured Alexis' hand too. They say that Jack is in the hospital and that the doctors said his leg is irreparable."
Shannon was stunned. Indeed, she did not know about that.
A faint smile appeared on her face, but she hid it so well that no one noticed.
With her head lowered, she let out a small sigh. "She's been brought up in a village since she was a child. She'd always skip school and get into fights. She's not the easiest person to be around. Given her temper, there's no telling what kind of big trouble she'll get herself into."
Shannon was certain Lily would pay a price for offending Jack despite having Loid to back her up.
Jack's family held a high social status as well. She doubted Loid would clash with the Dalton family for a fiancée he hadn't known for long. Once Loid started to resent Lily, Shannon would get her chance.
