Ian wondered if he had been mistaken. Had Lily really asked him to beat up those burly-looking bodyguards?
Physically, Ian didn't have anything to shout about. He might get beaten to death if he faced off with those bodyguards.
"Lily isn't allowed to fight, so she can't defend herself!" Anya said. She observed the situation for a moment, leaned closer to Ian's ear, and whispered, "She's been nothing but nice to you. It's time you return the favor."
Ian thought about it and realized that Anya was right. Then, he shut his eyes and gritted his teeth. With a raised fist, he charged forward. A loud smack sounded.
Ian's fist landed on one of the bodyguards. His punch had been swift and precise. However, the bodyguard remained still. He had taken the punch head-on. This left Ian feeling dumbfounded.
He looked down at his own fist, then back up at the bodyguard he had just punched, and wondered about his own strength.
