Shaun paused to think before finally saying to Poppy, "Don't blame me, alright? I have no choice but to take you to my place. I can't just leave you to sleep on the street, can I?" Poppy was so drunk that she was completely unresponsive. "Since you're not saying anything, I'll take that as a yes," Shaun muttered before driving off to the Knight Residence. When they arrived, Mary was watching TV. She looked up and froze momentarily, startled to see Shaun walk in with a woman in his arms. "Weren't you out celebrating Loid's marriage? Why are you back so soon? And who's this woman you're carrying?"Mary asked. Carrying Poppy inside, Shaun said, "Mom, can you get a room ready? Poppy had too much to drink and needs to rest here for the night." "It's Poppy?" Mary's expression softened into a smile. "I haven't seen her in ages! How did she end up this drunk?" Before Shaun could reply, Mary quickly added, "Hurry and take her to my room. I'll whip up some tea for her to help sober her up.
