Chapter Seventy - Chase
Willow tossed Ian onto the front yard as if he was weightless. Like he wasn’t some wolf with powers and just a random person from the streets.
There was so much going on between them.
I could feel Willow’s sense of power. Each step she took made Ian back away until he was on his feet.
I tried to pinpoint what was happening within her but I couldn’t. Her thoughts were sporadic and hard to understand.
A blond wolf stepped out from the house behind Willow.
I felt the hair on my back stand on end. I couldn’t see his human form but there was something about him that screamed Ian.
He moved like him. He was definitely related, which meant he was related to Willow.
Ian scurried upright and braced his palms outward toward Willow. He disappeared from his spot, and Willow took off across the sidewalk to the opposite side of the road.
She landed right by Ian and gripped his arm in her mouth.
