Chapter Fifty-Four - Chase
As badly as I wanted to go after her, I didn’t.
I could feel her frustration, and I knew chasing after her wouldn’t help the situation. She was a strong-willed she-wolf and she needed space to heal.
So, I sat back in my chair and did my best to block out her anger at me.
It wasn’t the first time she’d been angry, and it definitely wouldn’t be the last in our union. Any marriage, bond, or whatever you wanted to call it would go through these times. Willow had the right to be pissed, and I wouldn’t reprimand her for it.
I gathered my things into my folder and shoved them into my desk drawer. There were plenty of things for me to check on other than Willow, but my heart would always want to go to her.
The warriors had all settled into their rooms and the warrior’s cabin. Most were out in the yard amongst one another when I stepped outside. It seemed as if they were getting along well enough to work together. I was happy about it. Not all packs got along, and I was glad mine seemed to
