Chapter Forty-Nine - Willow
Emilia took the tray of food and gave me a gracious smile. “Thank you so much. I'm starving."
It didn’t look like she’d been eating for a few days before being here. I could tell by the way she scarfed down her food. And the way she spoke about the rogue camp. They didn't seem like people to make sure you were fed.
“After your breakfast, would you like a shower?” I asked. "I know I feel awful if I don't get one regularly."
“Oh my God, yes. I know I smell bad and haven’t washed my hair in days. I wouldn't be surprised if bugs were in there."
I smiled at her and sat down at the table across the room. “I’ll speak with Chase about it. I'm sure he won't mind."
“Thank you.”
Rex walked into the cells moments later, and she straightened. “Don’t worry, she-wolf. I’m not here to hurt you.” He plopped down beside me. “Good morning, Luna. Where is Chase?”
“Visiting the rogue in the infirmary. He’ll be here soon.”
He leaned forward and jabbed his finger toward the she-wolf. “What did I miss
