Makenna’s POV. “You liked me in college, Makenna?” As if he didn’t know. I never spoke the words to him but surely he had to know. I would drop everything I was doing, no matter how important it was just to show up whenever he called me. We were study partners for a semester and every single day when we would read together, I would pick up a cup of coffee for him. The night he met Mackenzie, it was because of me.
