Rushing to Texas
In Summer Castle, Savannah was accompanying Sean and Simon to do their homework.
Sean and Simon were already four years old, but they still needed adults to help them with their homework. They couldn't finish it on their own, so Savannah guided them carefully and patiently.
"Sean, Simon, look. Is there anything different about the little frogs on these two paintings? Take your time. Don't rush. From above... Let's use a ruler to measure them. We'll find them one by one, okay?"
"Mommy, there's no need to measure. One, two, three, four. That's all!"
Savannah smiled in surprise. She rubbed her son's head and praised him. "Sean, well done. You found them out before I taught you."
"Mommy..." The boy who was rubbed his head looked up at his mother with his big, shining eyes. The other one was surprised as well, with his eyes and mouth wide open.
Savannah looked at her two sons in confusion. "What's wrong? Did I say anything wrong? Was it because I didn't praise Simon?"
