The days had grown quieter, but the tension within the Ashwood pack was palpable. After our last confrontation with the hunters, there was an uneasy calm that settled over our makeshift camp on the outskirts of Ashwood. Noah had decided to keep a low profile, leading the pack deeper into the forest where we could regroup and strategize. It had been days since anyone saw Elsa, and while Noah kept his worries to himself, I could see the concern etched in his features.
