Chapter 146: No One Will Come to Save You

Elvira looked at Lainey in confusion, not understanding why Lainey wanted to stop her. "We should think now about how to escape." Lainey said calmly, which was rare. "We can't even leave this room now, so how can we escape? Besides, I can't swim." Elvira said in despair. "I can't swim either." Lainey said with her head lowered, "If we try to escape on the ship, without anyone to rescue us, we won't be able to get out. So we can only wait for the ship to dock and then figure out a way." At this point, there was no other choice, and Elvira reluctantly agreed. Outside, footsteps were heard. The two quickly moved away from behind the door and squeezed together. Then, the door was opened, revealing a familiar face in front of them. "It's you?" Elvira exclaimed in surprise, looking at the woman in front of her in disbelief. She was angry and cursed, "Jayda! Are you crazy or what? Do you know that you're committing a crime?" Jayda sneered and kicked Elvira. "Thanks for your help. If
