Lainey felt incredibly perturbed. She didn't know where Winfred was taking her, but she knew that she would be living with this man who claimed to be her fiancé from now on. The car stopped in front of a detached mansion, and Vernon came over to open the car door before going to the trunk to retrieve Lainey's wheelchair. "Let's go! Let's go home." Winfred carried Lainey out of the car, glanced at the wheelchair placed by Vernon aside, and walked directly into the house while holding Lainey in his arms. He placed Lainey on the sofa. Lainey looked around with curiosity and asked, "Did we live in this house before?" "Yes! You used to live here. Didn't you find anything familiar?" Danielle smiled and brought her a cup of coffee. Ayden once took her to see a doctor, who said that it could be because she hit her head when she fell off the cliff, or maybe the severe car accident caused her to develop
