The villa gate was tightly closed, and there was no one at home. Ayden pressed the doorbell several times but received no response. He frowned and looked down. "What's wrong? Is no one at home?" Lainey felt a bit disappointed. She thought she could meet her family. "They may have gone out." Ayden told her, "I used to rent a house next door, so I am acquainted with them." Lainey wasn't listening. She just stared at the closed villa gate and suddenly felt a dull pain in her heart. She felt so uncomfortable. It seemed that something had gone far away from her. Anyway, she was depressed. Ayden looked at his watch, waiting with Lainey at the door. They waited for nearly two hours without seeing any sign of someone coming home. "Let's go back for now! I'll come with you another day when I have time." It was almost getting dark, and they weren't sure if this family would come back if they kept waiting. Hence, Ayden made a decisive decision.
