52 The Bold Step

Luke got home from the hotel. He questioned himself about taking her to the wedding. She wondered who was behind the assault. He was bothered as he thought about the fact that she'd be with another man now. This got to him. It was late into the night, he stayed out a bit longer in his car, he shuffled between staring at the sky and Madison's apartment. He slept off in the car eventually. As the day dawned, the brightness of a new day rested on his face. He quickly got up and realized he had slept off in his car. He thought to himself to have the day off. He spent all day drinking and smoking in his room. A day off became two and two became three. At this point, everyone was beginning to worry. Like doesn't just miss coming to the office. He'd always give a prior notice or at least drop a message or an instruction. Several people tried reaching him including CeCe. Everyone seems to keep up with their jobs at the office. Everything went on fine except for things Like was nee
