118 MISSING
The night was long and cold. Ethan and Madison barely slept. They spent all night grieving in their heart but pretended to be asleep.
Ethan had Madison's head on his chest; he couldn't help but think what would become of them now. Madison thought the same; the thought brought fear and uncertainty to her. A hundred "what ifs" keep filling her head. The summary was, "What if we never worked out and this was all a huge mistake?"
They both fell asleep by the early hours of the morning.
Luke and Isabella had a fair night. They had talked about the grief of their friends and their hurt till they fell asleep late into the night.
The morning sun came up lightly till it rested on their faces. Isabella stared into it. She hoped the sun came with a blessing. She could almost hear herself say a wish to the sun. Luke found his way to her, holding her from behind where they lay on the bed. He rested his face on hers, staring into this sun as well. He thought to himself just about the same thing
