Chapter 25

Selene POV “Welcome sister! I only wish things were different this time. We still have a chance though. But I get ahead of myself.” Selene says, she moves forwards to hug Katia and pet Aza. “I have missed you so and I know you are confused. I will explain everything.” Aza nudges Selene with her nose, “I tried hard this time, Selene. They found us too quickly and we were too young.” Bending down, Selene continued to rub Aza’s nose and planted a kiss on the top of her head. “I know sweet girl. You did so well. Like I said, we may still have a chance at life for both of us. Let me speak with Katia and explain. Then we will have a run and picnic.” Aza settles down next to Katia. She is never far from her beloved human, especially when they are allowed their separate bodies. It makes her uncomfortable to not know immediately if Katia needs her and she is okay.
