Sullen
Sullen had initiated the kiss again. She would blame her wolf, but it was all her this time. The moonlight, the taste of her childhood in the air, it’d all been too much, and she needed his touch.
Roan didn’t seem to mind.
Until they caught the scent of yet another rogue.
Sullen couldn't pretend it wasn't weird the number of rogues that had shown up in such a short amount of time. When she was in her own pack, rogues were few and far between. This seemed planned.
And she was curious, but weary of her mother’s safety after she went back to the city.
If … she went back to the city.
She had time to figure it out. Part of her could see herself settling with Roan if he didn’t make her give up her dreams. She’d worked so hard and couldn't imagine giving them up.
Perhaps, he’d be the alpha she never expected him to be. The alpha she didn’t realize existed.
