CHAPTER FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY EIGHT – FINISH THE STORY
As the set medic checked Alan over, Jasmine turned to the crew. "Alright, everyone. We're going to take a short break. Check all the equipment, make sure everything is secure. We can't afford any more accidents."
As the crew dispersed, Mike approached Jasmine. "That was too close," he said, his face grim. "Maybe we should call it a day."
Jasmine shook her head. "We can't afford to lose a day of shooting. Not now. We'll double-check everything, take extra precautions. But we keep going."
Mike looked like he wanted to argue, but something in Jasmine's expression stopped him. He nodded, then walked away to confer with the cinematographer.
Jasmine turned back to Alan, who was now sitting up, looking dazed but alert. "How are you feeling? Do you think you can continue?"
Alan managed a weak smile. "I've come this far. A little bump on the head isn't going to stop me now."
