"That must be Elena," Lola hissed.
Jasmine watched as Fabio's face paled slightly. He plastered on a smile and approached Elena.
"Welcome to Alvarez Bakery," he said smoothly. "What can I get for you today?"
Elena's eyes narrowed. "Oh, I think you know exactly what I want, Fabio."
The bakery fell silent, all eyes on the unfolding drama. Jasmine felt her heart racing. This was exactly the kind of scene they'd been hoping to avoid.
Before Fabio could respond, Camila burst out of the kitchen, a rolling pin clutched in her hand like a weapon.
"You!" she shouted, pointing at Elena. "You're the one who's been calling him all the time!"
Elena turned to Camila, eyebrow raised. "And who might you be?"
"I'm the woman who's going to teach you a lesson about messing with other people's men!" Camila declared, advancing on Elena.
Jasmine and Lola exchanged panicked glances before rushing to intervene. Jasmine grabbed Camila's arm, while Lola stepped between her and Elena.
