That afternoon, Jasmine set up her easel, positioning herself with a clear view of Komen's preferred meeting spot. She pretended to focus on her painting while keeping her ears attuned to any snippets of conversation.
Sure enough, Komen and his associates arrived, speaking in low, urgent tones. Jasmine's heart raced as she caught words like "leverage," "Cesaro," and "hostile takeover." She prayed that Marco's hidden microphone was picking up every word.
Later that evening, they reviewed the audio, their excitement growing with each damning statement they uncovered.
