CHAPTER THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX – CALMING THE TORRENTS
Jasmine took a deep breath, surveying the faces before her. These people weren't just employees - they were family. And they deserved the truth... or at least, as much of it as she could safely share.
"First of all," she began, "I want to thank you all for your hard work today. Despite the... distractions, you've shown true professionalism. I'm proud of each and every one of you."
A few smiles appeared in the crowd, and Jasmine felt some of the tension ease.
"Now, I know there have been rumors circulating. About the Bistro, about the Cesaro family, about me. I'm here to address those rumors and answer any questions you might have."
She paused, gathering her thoughts. "Yes, the Bistro has faced some challenges recently. And yes, these challenges are related to a dispute with a rival business. But I want to make one thing absolutely clear: your safety is my top priority. Always has been, always will be."
Jasmine could see the staff exchanging glances, some nodding, others still look
