CHAPTER THREE HUNDRED AND FORTY TWO – PROPERTY DAMAGE
Jasmine arrived at Cesaro's Bistro early in the morning, her keys jingling as she approached the front door. The sun had barely risen, casting long shadows across the quiet street. As she neared the entrance, she froze, her eyes widening in shock.
"Oh my God," she whispered, staring at the shattered front window. Glass shards littered the sidewalk, glinting in the early morning light.
With trembling hands, Jasmine pulled out her phone and dialed Marco's number.
"Marco? It's Jasmine. Something's happened at the bistro," she said, her voice shaking.
"What is it? Are you okay?" Marco's concerned voice came through the speaker.
"I'm fine, but the front window... it's been smashed. Can you come quickly?"
"I'm on my way. Don't touch anything. I'll bring the security team."
Jasmine paced nervously in front of the bistro, careful to avoid the glass. Within minutes, she heard the screech of tires as Marco's car pulled up, followed by two security vehicles.
