CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY – ROW YOUR BOAT
The next morning, Jasmine woke early and made her way to the rooftop terrace. As she watched the sun rise over the town, she began to sketch, her mind full of ideas for new pieces inspired by their journey.
Lenny joined her a little later, carrying two steaming mugs of coffee. "So, partner," he said, handing her a mug, "what's next for us?"
Jasmine took a sip of coffee and smiled. "You know what? I have no idea. And for once, I'm okay with that."
As Jasmine and Lenny shared their new plans with the family over breakfast, João's face lit up with an idea.
"You know," he said, spreading butter on his toast, "if you're still set on getting to São Paulo, I might have a suggestion that could help you avoid any more... unexpected detours."
Jasmine leaned forward, intrigued. "We're all ears, João. At this point, I think we'd try anything."
João chuckled. "Well, it's not exactly a conventional tourist route, but have you considered taking a riverboat?"
