CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY – THNAKSGIVING DINNER
In the days that followed, Tasha's modest abode became a hive of activity as she and Jasmine collaborated on the preparations for their impromptu Thanksgiving feast.
"Alright, sugar, let's get this show on the road," Tasha crowed one morning, her voice booming through the cramped kitchen as she brandished a battered rolling pin like a conductor's baton.
Jasmine couldn't help but grin at the older woman's infectious enthusiasm, her own weariness momentarily forgotten in the face of Tasha's indomitable spirit.
"What's first, chef?" she quipped, tying on an apron and rolling up her sleeves in preparation for the culinary assault.
