She paused, letting the weight of her words settle before continuing, "I know where the funds from McLennon Group ended up—or at least, I know who facilitated it. I also need safe passage to Manovia. You'll arrange it for me.
"Mackenzie's death is connected to this. The information I have is valuable, and you'll profit from it," she added. Her tone was firm and edged with defiance.
