Leonard pulled on my hair hard, and I worried my colleagues might see me with a bald spot and start making fun of me.
During lunch, I went to a wig shop behind the hospital. I remembered the little girl from chemotherapy said they had nice pigtails here.
I used to be scared of wigs because I thought they looked strange. But when I went into the shop, it was full of different wigs and seemed really busy.
Rebecca, the shop owner, welcomed me warmly.
"What kind of wig are you looking for? Do you have a style in mind? I can show you around. Our wigs are high-quality, not those cheap synthetic ones. They last a long time!"
I couldn't help but feel jealous of Rebecca. She was about my age and had beautiful, shiny hair.
Then, unexpectedly, she took off her wig and showed me her bald head.
"Feeling jealous?" she asked with a smile. "Don't worry, you can look great too. Our wigs are really nice."
She added, "You're so pretty that even if you were bald, you'd still look better than me. D
