The doctors said it was possible she might never wake up. Meanwhile, Mackenzie, acting on behalf of the company, had taken all of Anne's belongings from the police station. Mr. Finnley's death was ruled as a tragic accident, a slip that led to drowning. Anne's bus was involved in an accident, but the police didn't seem to find anything suspicious.
