Julien explained, "Back when I used to drive my sister to school, she also liked eating in my car."
"Are you close to your sister?"
"We get along well enough. She's five years younger than me. Our family pampers her, so she's a bit spoiled."

Julien drove while looking out the window. "Yes, she's ahead of me. My family says she's doing better than me since I'm not taken yet."

Shelmaine fell silent. She gazed at the street scenery outside as the emotions in her eyes gradually faded.

"I understand." Shelmaine understood his intentions. "Give us both some more time, alright? I'm afraid there's no turning back later."
