CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY ONE – DISPENSATION
Cassius Noble adjusted his tie, glancing at his reflection in the mirror of his expansive office. He turned to face his sister, Clarissa, who was lounging on the leather sofa, scrolling through her phone.
"Clarissa, I really think you should come to this conference with me," Cassius said, his tone a mix of exasperation and hope.
Clarissa looked up, arching an eyebrow. "And why would I want to do that? You know I find these business things utterly boring."
Cassius sighed, walking over to sit beside her. "Look, I know you're not exactly thrilled about the corporate world, but you're part of this family, and Keppler Heritage is our legacy. It wouldn't hurt for you to learn a bit more about the business side of things."
"I suppose," Clarissa muttered, rolling her eyes.
"Plus," Cassius added, a sly smile forming on his lips, "there will be plenty of other young business people there. It could be a good opportunity for you to network, make some connections."
