Chapter 45 Henry's Invitation

　　Freya's POV 　　Leaving Kingsley's place, tears welled up in my eyes as I drove along the road, making it difficult to see ahead. I had to pull over and let the emotions out. My heart ached, and I looked around, feeling lost. 　　Eventually, after collecting myself, I decided to go back to Novia's place. 　　I hadn't eaten all day, so Novia cooked me some food. I didn't have much of an appetite, but I didn't want to disappoint my friend, so I managed to eat half of it. 　　Novia whispered, "Freya, are you okay?" 　　"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry," I replied with a forced smile, trying to hide the pain in my heart. 　　When I had rejected Kingsley earlier, I had felt pain, but now I felt a sense of relief, as if I had broken free from the shackles that had been holding me back. 　　Just then, my phone rang. I glanced at the caller ID and was surprised to see that it was Henry Quinn, the Alpha of the Moonlight Pack. 　　I answered, "Hello!" 　　Henry warmly greeted me, "Freya, I heard you're rejected
