77 FAMILY VISITS
KAREN'S POV
I was in the kitchen preparing breakfast with Percy. As we were cooking, we couldn't help but talk about our upcoming wedding.
"I can't believe we'll soon be getting married, you and me, starting a family," Percy said with a smile.
"I know, it's all just happening so fast," I replied, flipping the pancakes on the stove.
"But I'm so excited for our big day. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Karen," he said, placing a kiss on my cheek.
I smiled and turned to him, "Me too, Percy. It's going to be the happiest day of my life."
Just then, we heard the doorbell ring. I quickly wiped my hands on my apron and headed to the front door. I was surprised to see Percy's mother, Lina, standing there. Well, not actually surprised. But it was just too early.
"Hi Lina, what brings you here so early in the morning?" I asked, giving her a hug.
"I just wanted to drop off a few things for the wedding," she replied, handing me a box of decorations.
