JEREMY'S POV:
I watched as Karen hesitated at my suggestion of taking a walk.
I knew she needed this—a break from the worries and stresses that weighed heavily on her mind. "Come on, Karen, it'll be fun," I urged, my eyes reflecting genuine concern for her well-being.
As she reluctantly agreed, I felt a surge of satisfaction.
I wanted to demonstrate to her that even the most basic activities could bring joy.
So, as we strolled through the woods, I made sure to keep the conversation light and engaging, hoping to lift Karen's spirits.
When the rain began to fall, I saw it as an opportunity rather than an inconvenience. "Why don't we take cover under that tree over there? Or better yet, why not embrace the rain and make the most of it?" I suggested.
