Chapter 84 Come Clean

The staff behind me fell silent and stared at me in disbelief. If Zeke had the authorization, even they would be out of a job. I stepped closer, glanced at the document in his hand, and scoffed. "Is this really considered a signature? Calvin was unconscious at the time. "Who knows how you managed to get this signed? Was there a lawyer present? Could the medical staff testify?" After a brief pause, I added, "Calvin clearly said there was no authorization. Are you trying to forge documents?" Since Calvin said he didn't remember, I'd consider it as him not knowing. He was in a state of unconsciousness, so even if it was his signature, it wouldn't be valid. I understood that, and Zeke did too. He glared at me with resentment. "This is Calvin's signature. Do you think I'd risk breaking the law? Since you say he's awake, I'll go confront him directly. Let's go!" He managed to make an excuse for himself and left with his people. As Liam passed by me, he tried to bump into me, but Qu
