Calvin gripped the diamond ring tightly, his eyes slightly reddened.
"Where's your wedding ring? Why aren't you wearing it? Summer, what are you doing?"
I shrugged, unsure of what to say. Should I tell him that I was on the brink of death back then, without enough money, even for medical bills?
