"This is…a nightmare."
I sauntered into my office and sat in the chair as Aden closed the door behind him and drew down the blinds.
"I know, I know," I said, brushing aside any items on my desk.
"I'm your business partner, Leon. Not your maid. I can't clean up your messes. Especially when it's this big."
"This is just a misunderstanding," I insisted. "They're spinning it way out of proportion."
"Probably," Aden continued. "But it still is splashed across all news outlets. And the fact that it's Vicky makes it even worse. What'll happen when they find out she's your employee?!"
I quickly gave Aden a stern hush. "I'll fix it," I noted matter-of-factly.
"Fix it how? I'm sure Osip's dad would love to hear how you left his daughter for the new chef in town."
I sighed. He was right. This was bad. Aden pulled a folder out of his briefcase and set it down on the desk.
