CHAPTER 86: MEETING THE TRAITOR

As I ended the call and switched off the shower, I limped back to my bed and lay down. Julie, suspecting Marie, still disturbed me. My main suspect had always been Gregory Albert. The first time I met Gregory as an adult, I thought he might recognize me, but it was obvious I wasn't even on his radar.
Marie had been insisting that I meet her father. It bothered me, as I had been trying to avoid him all my life. Eventually, I gave in.
It was an evening when Marie and I visited her family home. They called it the Alberts Villa. From the gate to the house entrance, various species of flowers lined the path, reminding me of my old family home—the one Gregory brutally took from me. The memory made my stomach curl.
