Chapter 102: Three Chilly Words

I was restless at night. Ever since I lay in bed, the only thing I’ve been able to do was toss around. My eyes were heavy, but I just couldn’t sleep because of the anxiety building up inside me. Earlier in the evening, it had been a close one. Taylor had almost caught me snooping through his phone.
Given Taylor’s jovial nature, I didn’t really know for sure how he’d have reacted if he’d caught me, but I was sure that no one—no matter how jovial they were—liked having people snoop through their privacy and try to spy on them.
In my defense, I was just anxious from too much curiosity. There was something Taylor and Charles weren’t telling me, and I knew the best way to unravel it was if I took matters into my own hands and investigated.
It turned out that I was right. Taylor was not being completely honest with me. He’d been receiving threatening texts from someone, and the person was giving me warning calls, too. What I didn’t know was if Taylor had ever answered those calls
