After saying that, Liam glowered at Perseus, his gaze threatening.
"Okay." Perseus remained composed as he explained, "I meant to convey that you're not sick, just experiencing a minor condition—you're missing something in your body."
He continued, "To be precise, you're not complete as a man."
The glass in Liam's hands fell to the floor. He stared at Perseus, speechless.
How did Perseus know? Liam's face turned pale as if he'd just seen a ghost.
"He isn't completely a man? What do you mean?" Zeke blurted with his brows furrowed. "Liam, did you become… a eunuch?"
Liam opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out. The way Zeke put it, Liam was sure that he'd inherited the art of talking in such a manner from his mom.
"Zeke, mind your words," Perseus rolled his eyes at Zeke.
He knew Zeke wanted to speak up for him and prove that he was indeed a medical expert, but calling Liam an eunuch was simply too much. The term hurt a man's dignity worse than anything.
